Preparation

I aim to provide you the most accurate and relevant measurements possible. In order to do so, there's a few things we need you to do.

Find a safe location for measuring, with at least room in front and behind for you to drive your entire rig in and out plus the full width of your right on either side. Position your rig on flat, level, hard ground such as concrete or bitumen (preferred). Grass and dirt surfaces are not suitable. Pavers may yield a sub-standard result.

Ensure your car is loaded at it's heaviest per your travel expectations. This includes a full tank of fuel, water tanks filled, all accessories fitted, drawers, tools, fridges etc all included. Where practical, people, pets and average luggage should be added.

Ensure your trailer, trailer boat, camper, caravan or whatever else you're towing is loaded at it's heaviest and as it would be per your travel expectations. Ensure everything in it is loaded specifically where you expected it to be loaded when you travel. Ensure water tanks are filled along with other fluids where practical. These steps will allow the most accurate measurement of balance, stability and towball downweight.

Anything that you cannot load into your vehicle, trailer or caravan, take as accurate as possible note of it's weight and placement. Remember to include things such as extra people, pets, BBQs, Gas etc.

Please check your vehicles user manual for axle limits, usually these can be found under specifications or towing limits. Please bring it with you. If you don't have your user manual and you accidentally selected that you do on your booking, or if the axle limits are not listed, please let me know.
